Our stylish European mothers instilled in us a love for fashion and an appreciation for quality. Elegant, independent, and strong women who cared for their families, they took pride in dressing everyone stylishly, no matter the occasion.
We have been in each other’s lives for the past 35 years. First as friends, then as sisters-in-law when Tanya married Natasha’s brother 27 years ago. As our children grew up and family priorities changed, we unexpectedly found a shared vision on a grueling hike up a local mountain in San Diego as we talked about what we wanted in our lives and careers. On the way up we were sisters-in-law, but on the way down we became business partners.
We both have daughters. We want to show them how special female relationships are, how important it is to be independent, and how empowering it is to feel confident and ready for the world. We hope that our designs convey these ideals.
Our business is inspired by our moms, and through it we hope to leave a legacy for our daughters.

Meet Tanya
Feeling the texture of fabric, designing an outfit in my head, the sound of sharp scissors cutting yarn, stitching seams, wearing the newly sewn skirt or pants to school the next day… These are the fond memories of my teenage years. To this day, fashion and sewing remain an integral part of who I am.
After seeing my three kids grow into amazing young adults, I am in a lovely new phase of my life where I can be free to dream and create. To design garments that are worn with sophistication and flair. To empower women to be confident, beautiful, and stylish. And to teach my teenage daughter the craft I love so much.
My cat, Pepe, also loves fashion. He patiently watches me as I sketch, draft, sew, and move from excitement, to doubt, and back to delight when a milestone is reached.
My inspiration comes from my mom’s creativity and elegance, my admiration for mid century modern architecture and furniture, and the “Less is more” school of thought. Simple silhouettes, interesting details that add depth and focus, and only natural fibers.
I invite you to be a part of my personal journey, where my creations give you the inner strength to embrace your uniqueness and pursue your dreams with grace and determination.

Fashion wasn’t always my forte. While I’ve always loved fashion, styling never came naturally to me. Over the years, Tanya would often surprise me with her designs as gifts. I always felt very stylish and chic in her outfits. But I typically took a practical approach to clothing, often overlooking the transformative power of personal style.
Tanya has always had that style. So when she told me she wanted to create her own collection, I was thrilled. Life, however, is full of surprises and can change in a day. I didn’t expect to launch a new business at an age when some people start slowing down. Yet, I’ve combined my love of fashion with my entrepreneurial spirit, drawing on my experience in marketing and business to enhance our ANATATI vision.
Wearing our designs now gives me a newfound sense of style and sophistication. Our commitment to using natural fibers and collaborating with talented artisans in LA reflects my values of wellness and sustainability.
I share my journey with you in the hope that you too can experience the power of fashion to transform and empower. This new chapter of my life and career has reaffirmed my belief in the strength of female entrepreneurship. I’ve seen firsthand how women support each other, lift each other up, and create magic together. It’s a bond unlike any other and it’s something I hold dear to my heart.

OUR COLLECTION
Studio collection
The Studio Collection is our first step into the world. It represents our core values through five unique and stylish essential pieces: a skirt, top, dress, jacket, and pants. We prioritize attention to detail, quality, and timeless design. Our selection of natural and ethically sourced cotton, rayon from bamboo, and linen fabrics feel good on the skin and are the foundation for our tailored Studio line in coordinated colors and striking silhouettes. Wear them separately or together to create a versatile wardrobe with an artsy and urban attitude. Classics matter.
Our Loft Collection is a natural continuation of our design philosophy to evoke urban sensibilities, bring out your individuality, and add a sophisticated European flair. We love subdued neutral colors and a rich and distinctive earthy palette. Natural fibers are our only choice. The collection is made out of four types of cotton fabrics with different textures. Twill, lightweight denim, corduroy, and double gauze. They look amazing together, but are also a chic complement to your existing favorite pieces.
Natural fibers like cotton, linen, and rayon from bamboo allow your skin to breathe, keeping you cool and comfortable. If you have sensitive skin, natural fibers are gentle and less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions compared to synthetic materials. They also tend to be more durable, ensuring that your favorite pieces last longer and withstand everyday wear and tear. Opting for natural fibers means supporting eco-friendly practices. These fibers are biodegradable and renewable. That’s why we always choose natural fibers.

With our obsessive attention to detail and focus on timeless designs, we believe in quality, not quantity. Our clothes are released in small collections, and our production process is small scale. All designs and patterns are personally crafted by us. We choose to collaborate with people who share our commitments to artisanal craftsmanship, respect for people, and consideration of the environment. We manufacture our clothes in the USA, specifically in downtown Los Angeles, and work with small, mostly women-owned businesses.
